Sam Miller Gott Portrait

Sam Miller Gott had the very good fortune of growing up in Kansas. Her current work takes as its focus the idea of home in all its complexities and nuances, of homes remembered and those yet to be painted. Miller Gott's images are less about specific places and more about the notion, the recollected and the yearned for. Weaving narratives into her images, she reveals snippets of a grander story that is still being told.
